Angela is available for school assemblies and classroom visits, including library read-alouds, writing workshops and presentations on publishing and being an author. Visits can be tailor to a school’s needs. Below are some examples.
PreK-K Classroom/Library Session
Reading followed by an interactive session with opportunities for children to ask and answer questions and learn more about how a picture book is created.
The Making of a Book: Students will get a look at the creative journey from idea to story through the publishing process to finished book.
Elementary Small Group Workshop
The Poetry of Prose: A look at linguistic devices, including meter, rhyme, alliteration, and figurative language, that can add punch to your creative writing regardless of form or audience.
Half Day: Two of the above sessions
Full Day: Up to four sessions, no more than 3 workshops / assemblies
